@Michelle, thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it. I did try and come up with questions that weren't going to be asked by average media outlets - I wanted stuff that was going to be of actual interest for puppeteers. So many media types ask the 'how did you get into puppetry' stuff, but never get much past that.
... School of Puppetry on Exclusive interview with Ronnie BurkettAs for informal, it's a trick I picked up after doing interviews for a previous job. I find it's easier to do an interview if we're both relaxed and what better way to do that than follow the conversation wherever it goes. It's much more rewarding that way from either end.
When he asked me what I wanted to know, my first thought was "everything". :) It's so hard not to want to grab as much as possible in those instances, especially when sitting down with someone who clearly has a lot to give.
A "we love Ronnie" club sounds great! Maybe his Facebook page would be a good start!
@Kelvin, I talk to lots of things... mainly myself though ;)
I'm not sure I talk to my puppets more than anything else. I think it's just "get in there you..." or "why aren't you working?" :)
