Puppetry events and opportunities, Nov 2011

In today’s update we have some shows happening in West Australia and Victoria; news about the forthcoming Tarrengower Puppet Festival; and updates on next year’s Puppet Palace, as part of Adelaide’s Fringe Festival, has some fab international acts coming our way. There’s a job opening in WA, and some UNIMA International news, including an update on the Chengdu 2012 festival.

The short answer is: I’m not aware of anyone in particular who offers puppet repair as a specific service. Your best bet is to contact UNIMA Australia (www.unima.org.au), the centre for Australian puppetry, and see if they can pass on your request to their members.

Sorry I can’t help further, but this is all I have been able to find out about local repairers.
