Where to buy Folkmanis puppets in Australia?

Please see my post on where to buy and hire puppets in Australia - there is plenty of info available on Australian suppliers, as well as more info on buying puppets in general. Alternatively, you may just want to check out your local stuffed toy store or gift store; pretty much everyone stocks the puppets, and despite the very small list of suppliers on the Folkmanis site, there are many more sellers than that.

Hell, why bother going to a store? There are several thousand sites you can now buy them on, from eBay to toy shops - you really don’t have to hunt that much for their puppets.

Please don’t ask me or expect for more information on where to buy them: I love their puppets as much as the next person, but they are factory made and pretty generic, and I prefer to support local Australian puppet makers who sell unique items for performance, not for child’s play. Sorry if that sounds snotty, but you have no idea how difficult it is to market handmade puppets when most people just want a generic factory-made item that can be bought anywhere in the world. Additionally, if I were to support factory made items, they would be Australian made (Folkmanis is American). You want something that every other person is going to buy, visit Folkmanis; you want something a little more interesting, check out some of the fantastic Aussie pro puppet makers out there who do this for a living.
